January,16, 1417. Now I am starting my journey again. We are on our way to Samarkand. We will have to find a home, silk, and food. It is Janaury 18 when we finally arrived. My Bactrain Camels held all of our bags. My other camels had to hold the boats. I saw a lady and I asked her can I put my boats inside of her house. She said," yes." When I finished putting my boats in the house, I went looking for silks. I went to Registan Square. I talk to the manager. She told me if I give her some corn I can have 5 ounces of silk. I was happy. I went to the farm. He gave me some grains for free. I took the corn to the Registan Square. I got my silk and put it in the bag. I went back to the lady with our boats. She told me if I give her an ounce of silk, I can get my boats. I gave it to her. She told me to follow her. I left my boats, friends, and some camels at her house. I arrive at the Registan Square again. They were some entertainment in the Registan Square. They were dancing and eating. They were having a festival. There were some difficulties. First rain came. Next the camel didn't want to walk in the mud, so we waited at the Registan Square. While we were their, the lady asked the manager can I have a 8 pounds of silk. She traded the corn for the silk. We left and she gave me all of the silk. Now I have 8 pounds and 4 ounces of Silk.

They gave me 10 pounds of silk. I went to see the Aidkah (Id Kah) Mosque. It is the largest worship place in China. When I got there, they were selling jeweled daggers, copper goods, musical instruments, fur hats and korans. I bought one of each. I went to the Aidkah Mosque. When I got there, they were just opening up the door to get silk. First you had to pray for 20 minutes. Then you got silk. If they couldn't hear me, I wasn't getting anything. I got my silk and left.
They were about to have a hurricane so we had to hurry up and leave.

It was January,29,1417. I went to Istanbul, it was located in Rome. Their empire was called Byzantine (395-1204 and 1261-1453). They spoke native languages. I saw the colosseum. When I got there they were fighting. I was very entertained. I tried to leave, but I couldn't until it was over. When it was over, I went to the farm. I saw that they were growing cotton, fruits, silk, and tobacco. My difficulty was trying to get to the farm. They had a long line almost 250 people in front of me. Everyone was trying to get fruits and cotton except for me. Luckily, I didn't want it. I wanted silk. When I got to where the farmers were, I asked them, "can I have some silk"? They said, "yes" because I was the only one that didn't want cotton and fruits. I got a lot of silk for free. While I was going to get my boats, friends, and other camels, I saw people getting water from the aqueducts. Then I saw a church. I went inside the church. Their religion was Christianity. After I left there, I saw festivals. I finally reached my boats, friends, camels.
